A model release is the unit of composition
An import MUST name a specific released version of the imported model. An implementation MUST NOT resolve an import to whatever the model currently is.
Non-normative:
DESIGN, because no source addresses versioning at all. It is stated here because PM-DET-0010 is scoped to "a given model release", and that phrase is empty unless a release is a real, immutable thing that an import can name. Without it, a change to a widely imported Object model silently changes the behaviour of every Component that imports it, and replay of a recorded trace stops being meaningful because the model it ran against no longer exists.
